С Робертом мы познакомились в Джорданвилле на Пасху 2005. Он тогда собирался в Ирак. Некрещеным. Мне показалось это опасным предприятием. Мы поговорили, выпили кофею и... не прошло и полугода, как Роберт собрался в... Россию. Уже крещеным. В Питер. Зимой. В Псковскую деревню - на Рождество. А сегодня я получила это приглашение.

Венчаются завтра Роберт и Ксения, регент питерского храма Святых Адриана и Наталии. Счастья вам, мои хорошие люди! Вместе вам быть. На душе у меня птички поют!



The Russian army is pleased to announce the marriage of the Ataman of the Cossacks, Ksenia Nikitenko, of St. Petersburg, Russia to Robert Mencl 3rd. of Hartland, Maine U.S.A. to take place at Sts. Adriana and Natalia church, St. Petersburg, Russia 20 Jan. 2006 at 2:00.

Dr. Nikitenko is a graduate of Novosibirsk State Conservatory and St. Petersburg Institute of Art History,and is currently employed as Professor of Pedagogy at the State Pedagological University, and at Smolny-Bard college in St. Petersburg, and she formerly served in the Young Pioneers.

Mr.Mencl is a graduate of Unity College Unity, Maine, and is currently employed as a pipe welder for local union #131 Hooksett, N.H., and formerly served in the United States Coast Guard.

The couple plan to reside in St. Petersburg, Pskov, and Hartland.
